WADC - University of Minnesota Conference on Acoustical Fatigue

Below are the Proceedings for the WADC - University of Minnesota Conference on Acoustical Fatigue sponsored by the Materials Laboratory, Wright Air Development Center and the University of Minnesota, which took place on September 29, 30, and October 1, 2, 1959 at Beecher's Resort, Annandale, Minnesota.

The Conference Proceedings were published as a Wright Air Development Center Technical Report: WADC TR 59-676, in March, 1961.  Due to the great size of the report, and to facilitate indexing, it is presented here in many files, broken down by articles.

General Session I.
Introductory Lectures

General Session II.
Characteristics of Noise Fields

General Session III.
Properties of Materials and Structural Configurations Which Affect Acoustical Fatigue Life

General Session IV.
Response to Vibration and Noise of Structure with Idealized Properties

General Session V.
Engineering Experience and Relative Importance of Various Parameters in Acoustical Fatigue

Special Seminar Papers

General Session VI.
Panel Discussion and Summary of the Conference
